THE GEOMETRY OF SILENCE constructs an imagined interior through planes of charcoal grey, deep green, pale blue and a single vertical orange line. A small human figure stands at the intersection of light and architecture, introducing scale, vulnerability and presence. Perspective is reduced to a few decisive elements, allowing the space to remain both physical and psychological. The work continues Małgorzata Oleszkiewicz’s exploration of human presence within imagined architecture - spaces that are less depicted than sensed, entered and remembered.

ABOUT THE WORK
In BLUE SUN, space is reduced to a few essential elements: a dark interior, a field of pink, a monumental passage and an almost translucent figure. Architecture no longer describes a specific place; instead, it becomes a psychological construction - a space suspended between the real, the imagined and the remembered.
A small blue point concentrates the tension of the entire composition. It may be read as a sign, a source of light, a distant sun, or an element whose meaning remains deliberately unresolved. The figure pauses before it, yet the relationship between body and space is never fully explained.
The painting reflects on threshold, presence and anticipation, positioning the viewer at the moment when architecture ceases to function merely as a physical interior and begins to exist as an experienced, internal space.
